About the H-13

Originally inspired by the Gibson Nick Lucas guitars of the 1920s and 1930s, the H-13 has become one of Santa Cruz Guitar Company’s most beloved models. Its distinctive 13-fret neck joint allows the bridge to occupy an ideal location on the soundboard while retaining the longer scale length. Combined with the model’s deeper body, the result is remarkable volume, powerful bass response, and a level of projection that belies its comfortable small-body dimensions.

Rich, articulate, and exceptionally balanced, the H-13 delivers sparkling highs, warm mids, and a robust low end with volume to spare. Equally at home under a flatpick or in the hands of a fingerstyle player, the H-13 possesses the voice and presence of a much larger instrument while remaining wonderfully comfortable to hold.
